How do you even exist?

You meet every item on my list.

How the turn tables, I think.

I’m honestly on the brink…

Of I don’t know… finding myself in sync

With someone that doesn’t make me feel like I should shrink.

Someone who celebrates every part of what makes me, me.

I was going through life, the connection between us, I would never foresee.

But you came into my wavelength, my vibe.

The way you make me feel is so hard to describe.

I guess you’re like the rain after a hot humid day.

Your sweet love makes the heaviness of my burdens go away.

& you’re the first person I’ve met

That I’m willing to let stay.

I won’t push, I won’t shove

I’ll do anything but the above

I’m letting you in

I’m ready to swim, in the depths of your love.
